Opulent and rare antique Viennese coral earrings with diamonds, crafted from yellow gold 585 / 14 ct (stamped with Austrian hallmarks, tested and guaranteed).
An elegantly curved motif made of gold and distinctive sparkling diamond roses sits on a round coral bouton. An arch, also set with diamonds, serves as a connecting element and forms the upper end of a large salmon red coral bouton in an oval shape.
All four corals come from the Italian Mediterranean and are of a very beautiful salmon-coloured tone and are characterised by their outstanding size and the velvety shine of their surface.
The antique earrings are set with a total of 44 rose-cut diamonds totalling ca. 0.35 carats and have studs with butterly prongs on the back to ensure a close and secure fit on the ear.
The earrings were created in Vienna around 1900 and come from an Austrian aristocratic family, from whom we were able to purchase them. Their size and glamorous yet timeless design are typical of the period in which they were created. Both make them an absolutely sought-after and rare piece of jewellery and a highlight for antique jewellery lovers!
The earrings are part of a demi parure consisting of a matching brooch and necklace, which you can view under the item numbers 202512952 and 202512953.
