Wonderful, high-quality ring with a large moonstone cabochon, crafted from 750 / 18k yellow gold (stamped and guaranteed).
The high oval ring head is set with a large cabochon-cut moonstone. The bluish shimmering stone with its interesting light reflections, which appear to run across the surface when the stone is moved (adularescence), has a stone weight of ca. 4.8 ct. It is held by a simple yellow gold frame, which forms a wonderful contrast to the color of the moonstone.
This impressive ring was created around 1960 and impresses with its classically elegant design and heavy workmanship.
