Description
Historic Italian earrings featuring pretty micro-mosaics, crafted from 333 / 8 carat gold and tombac (hallmarked, tested and guaranteed).
Two round settings are mounted on each of the delicately curved gold hook backs; these are adorned with delicate micro-mosaics in the shape of a stylised flower in white, blue and green. Beneath these are diamond-shaped pendants, which are also decorated with colourful micro-mosaics in various patterns and colours.
The earrings were made in Italy around 1900 from gold-plated tombac. The 333 gold ear hooks were added later.
These antique earrings are a charming example of 19th-century Italian micro-mosaic art. They go particularly well with traditional costume or cheerful, colourful outfits.
Dimensions of the earrings (including hooks): 4.2 x 1.4 cm.
Weight: 6.1 grams in total.
Condition: Beautiful historical condition, gold ear hooks added, freshly cleaned, see photos.
You will receive the earrings lovingly packaged in one of our pretty cases, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Please note: Vintage and antique jewellery are pre-owned items which, due to their history, may show slight signs of wear.
