Description
Beautiful Bauhaus brooch in silver 800 (stamped and guaranteed). The oval brooch is gently curved and designed in a fine hammerblow look. In the middle is an oval-shaped and factietter and blue Verneuil spinel, framed by a narrow silver cord, which gives the brooch its simple but noble structure. In addition, the slight sparkle of the hammer blows makes the jewellery a real eye-catcher. On the back the brooch has a pin with which it can be easily attached and detached.
The brooch was made around 1930 and is a typical example of the Bauhaus era. It is signed "a. Seitz" and stamped "800" and was handmade. A wonderful piece for collectors and antique jewellery lovers!
Dimensions of the brooch: approx. 39.2 x 25.4 mm.
Dimensions of the Verneuil spinel: approx. 11.6 x 8.2 mm.
