Description
Lovely antique earrings with porcelain painting, crafted from gold-plated tombac (tested and guaranteed).
These delicate traditional-style earrings each consist of an egg-shaped pendant, which is covered on both the front and back with a hemispherical surface of porcelain. These feature a decorative arrangement of flowers and leaves rendered in delicate miniature porcelain painting, with a forget-me-not flower on the reverse of each. Between the two porcelain surfaces sits a delicately decorated, filigree band of gold-plated tombac, to which the practical hook fastenings are attached.
These particularly pretty earrings were made around 1910 in Bavaria and are an authentic addition to traditional costume and dirndls.
Dimensions of the earrings (including hooks): 3.0 x 1.4 cm.
Weight: 7.0 grams in total.
Condition: Very good condition, freshly cleaned, see photos.
You will receive the earrings lovingly packaged in one of our pretty cases, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Please note: Vintage and antique jewellery items are pre-owned and may show slight signs of wear due to their history.
