Beautiful antique diamond medallion pendant with chain, crafted from 585 / 14K yellow gold (assayed and guaranteed).
This lovely antique medallion is crafted entirely from 14-karat gold and has a satin-matte finish. At its center sits a stunningly sparkling old-cut diamond of ca. 0.2 ct (G-H, VS2-SI1), surrounded by a star-shaped engraving. The rim of the round medallion is also adorned with a beautiful ornamental border.
Inside, the piece offers space for small mementos such as photographs, miniatures, or locks of hair.
The matching chain, featuring a delicate curb link pattern, is made of 333 / 8 Kt yellow gold (hallmarked and guaranteed) and fastens with a spring clasp.
This enchanting medallion pendant was created around 1890 and remains, as it was then, a wonderful piece of friendship and keepsake jewelry.
