Description
Aureus Magnus coin pendant from 1958, made of yellow gold 980 (stamped, guaranteed and signed). The coin is from the 2nd issue (1958-1959), counts ducats and is in a solid frame and pendant eyelet in yellow gold 585 / 14 Kt (stamped and guaranteed).
The Aureus Magnus is a series of medals in 980 yellow gold by the designer Werner Graul from 1955.
The portrait of Nefertiti, the wife of Pharaoh Akhenaton, is found in the obverse, and is based on the bust of Nefertiti, found during the excavations of the German-Orient Society in 1912 and today is the highlight of the Egyptian Museum in Berlin.
The Aureus Magnus is the object of an art and cultural-historical medal series and is a popular object among collectors, especially among lovers of Egyptian history and art treasures!
