A very nice vintage garnet necklace, made of partially gold plated silver 835 (stamped and garnet plated).
The three-row necklace made of faceted garnets has a large pendant with movable suspension. Both decorative elements are set with one garnet each in an oval rose cut.
The pendant and suspension as well as the ornate intermediate pieces of the necklace are partially gold-plated and, together with the deep red coloured stone, create a feminine, elegant look.
The snap back clasp makes it practical and comfortable to put on and take off.
This lovely garnet necklace comes from Austria and was created around 1950.
