Pretty ladies' charivari with nine pendants in 835 silver (stamped and guaranteed).
There are nine pendants on a flat armour chain with hatching: a deer's toe, a silver chamois, a 10 Kreuzer coin from 1774 from the Electorate of Bavaria with the portrait of Maximilian III Joseph, a silver post horn, a rock crystal heart, a badger's beard in an original silver setting with a traditional hat, a Hungarian 20 Kreuzer coin from 1844 with the portrait of Ferdinand I., who was Austrian Emperor of the Habsburg Empire and King of Hungary between 1835 and 1848. The reverse depicts the Virgin Mary with the infant Jesus. Next to it is a marmot in the figure-of-eight position and two badger teeth.
The chain can be attached to the skirt waistband or dirndl apron using two beautifully decorated cartouche-shaped elements with hooks.
The richly decorated charivari was created in Bavaria around 1950 and is a classic and traditional addition to traditional costumes and dirndls.
