Description

Impressive vintage necklace made of wonderful Butterscotch Amber in form of big polished balls. The toffee to caramel coloured amber is individually knotted on pearl silk and ends at the backside in a newly completed ball clasp made of gold-plated sterling silver 925 (stamped and guaranteed), which fits harmoniously into the design due to its satin finish.
The processed Butterscotch Amber is very sought after because of its characteristic colour and its natural formation of fine clouds and other drawings, which makes it especially interesting and distinctive.
The beautiful necklace was created in the 1960s, comes from the Baltic States and is a high quality piece of jewellery of timeless elegance;

Diameter of the amber balls: approx. 17.9 - 19.3 mm.
