Description
Beautiful and extraordinary historical traditional costume chain made of partly silver embarrassed foam gold (tested and guaranteed), set with garnets and decorative pearls. The necklace made of silver pea chains running three rows at the front and one row at the back is decorated with cartouches of gold sheet embossed in swelling ornament and additional trimming of fine garnets and seed pearls. The main accent is an opulent cross pendant in baroque style. The so-called pendant jewellery covers the entire width of the wearer's neckline and chest. It is closed on the back with a simple silver toggle clasp.
The historical necklace was made around 1850 in the Franconian area and is a wonderfully preserved church day decoration of the second half of the 19th century with absolute rarity value.
