Beautiful historical marquise ring with emerald and old-cut diamonds in yellow gold 750 / 18 ct (tested and guaranteed).
The navette-shaped ring head is set with a total of 18 sparkling old european cut diamonds totalling approx. 0.42 carats (I-J / SI1 - SI2), which frame a bright green, oval faceted emerald of approx. 0.2 carats.
The decorative ring head is complemented by an elegant, forked ring shank in yellow gold.
This antique piece of jewellery was created around 1910, when people liked to show off their wealth with high-quality, jewelled jewellery. The marquise shape refers to designs from the 18th century, which were now - at the beginning of the twentieth century - elaborated even more opulently.
