Beautiful vintage costume necklace with amethyst, crafted from partially gold-plated sterling silver 925 (stamped and guaranteed).
The decorative necklace has a large, richly decorated center cartouche with a small pearl as a suspension and is set with an oval cabochon-cut amethyst. Seven rows of pea chains lead in garlands into smaller, floral side cartouches. The pea chains flow from the side cartouches into the clasp on the back with a decorative buckle.
This pretty traditional costume jewelry was created in Austria around 1960 and is the perfect accessory for traditional costumes and dirndls!
