Beautiful Art Deco amber necklace with S-hook clasp made of gold-plated sterling silver 925 (stamped and guaranteed). The polished and angular cut amber elements have a warm honey colour and are of the Butterscotch type. The vivid inclusions provide a wonderfully varied coloration. The special cut of the amber parts fits tremendously into the design language of the Art Deco, in whose epoch the necklace can be historically classified. Two decorative balls, made of sterling silver, shine in the neck of the lady near the clasp;
The amber comes from the Baltic States and was processed around 1935 and was reknotted in our workshop. The warm and at the same time striking colour as well as the cut makes the necklace a great statement piece, which can be combined to countless outfits.
Rare Baltic Art Deco Amber necklace from around 1935, made from large square cut Butterscotch olives.
The vivid inclusions of the amber provide a typical varied colouring and the special cut of the olives fits exactly into the strict design language of the Art Deco period.
The necklace has been reknotted in our workshop and the backside is equipped with a modern, stylistically very well fitting S-hook clasp made of gold-plated sterling silver.
The beautiful warm butterscotch colour as well as the cut make the necklace a very special and rare piece of jewellery.
