Description

Beautiful historical necklace from Tombak with links occupied by Bohemian garnets. The individual chain links are rosette-shaped and connected by means of fine eyelets. In the centre of each member sits a larger round faceted garnet, framed by a wreath of small round faceted garnets. The chain has a pendant that can be hooked into the chain via a middle piece. The middle piece is almost loop-shaped and the pendant itself is oval in design. Both are also decorated with faceted grenades. In addition to round facetted garnets, the pendant also features oval facetted garnets.
The necklace and its parts can be worn in a variety of ways. The pendant can also be used as a brooch, for example. On the back there is a well functioning C-hook clasp with needling.
It originated around 1850 in Bohemia and is a pretty eye-catcher for the Wiesn.
