Description
Dreamlike antique garnet bracelet with accentuated middle part, made of gilded tombac (tested and guaranteed). This beautiful piece of jewellery consists of a total of six narrow, garnet-studded limbs on the sides, which flow centrally into a large flower motif. This is open worked and also completely set with wine red sparkling garnets in rose cut. In the centre of the flower there is a floral overlay decorated with finely shimmering seed pearls and a single large garnet in panel cut. Six further seed pearls in Stotzen settings set charming accents. The bracelet is closed with a very well functioning buckle, which hides in the last link.
The historical arm jewellery was created around 1850 in Bohemia and is a very beautiful example of the bourgeois jewellery art of the Biedermeier period, when regional gemstones such as Bohemian garnet were preferred. The processing of tombak is also typical for that time, since the brass alloy could deceptively imitate the jewellery of court jewellery fashion made of real gold.
