Description
Historic onyx diamond pendant with chain, both crafted from 750/18-carat white gold (tested and guaranteed).
A shiny black drop made of onyx swings from a fine white gold anchor chain, which bears a filigree, star-shaped decoration adorned with millegrain. An old-cut diamond weighing approx. 0.04 carats sits in the centre of the pretty decoration. Further rose-cut diamonds can be found on the beautifully designed suspension and on the back of the pendant. Together, the diamonds are approx. 0.1 carat (SI2-P1, J-K).
The necklace is closed and opened using a spring ring and sits securely on the neck.
The elegant necklace was created around 1910 and is a typical piece of jewellery of its time due to the materials used, the delicate goldsmith work and the interesting black and white contrast.

Dimensions of the onyx drop: ca. 2.5 x 0.7 cm.
Diameter of the old and rose-cut diamonds: ca. 1.3 - 2.1 mm, total ca. 0.1 ct. (SI2-P1, J-K.)
