Description

A charming antique medallion with a chain, crafted from 333 / 8 carat yellow gold (assayed, hallmarked and guaranteed).

The round medallion hangs on a delicate curb chain with a spring ring clasp and is finely guilloché on both the front and back. At the centre of the domed pendant is a pretty floral motif, whilst the reverse can be opened to reveal a frame for photographs and small mementoes.
The medallion is made all the more charming by the eyelet connecting it to the chain. This is reminiscent of the clasp on a pocket watch, lending the piece a very special character.

This beautiful medallion pendant was created around 1900 and remains, as it was then, a wonderful way to carry memories and mementos with you at all times. It is therefore also an ideal gift to mark special milestones such as weddings, births or milestone birthdays.
