Description
Expressive Sixties bangle in sterling silver 925 by Franz Scheurle (stamped, signed and guaranteed).
The heavy design bangle is crafted as an open bangle with tapered ends facing each other in a vis-à-vis shape.
The piece of jewellery is solid and has no joint; it is simply slipped over the wrist.
The characteristic bangle was created around 1965 and comes from Franz Scheurle (signed "FS"), whose silverware factory of the same name produced small silverware in Schwäbisch Gmünd from 1903. From the 1960s onwards, the company switched to jewellery production - under the management of his son - and focused in particular on the sleek designs of Scandinavian designers. This cool, minimalist design language is also beautifully reflected in this piece of jewellery.
Inner circumference of the bangle: approx. 20.0 cm.
Width of the bangle: 1.7 - 3.2 cm.
Weight: 82.5 grams.
Condition: Beautiful vintage condition, freshly cleaned and polished, see photos.
You will receive the bangle lovingly packaged in one of our pretty gift bags and with a certificate of authenticity.
