Description
Rare Biedermeier earrings with red ornamental stones, crafted from yellow gold 585 / 14 ct (stamped and guaranteed).
The elegant ear jewellery with its typical period design consists of two curved ring shapes, which are intertwined and partially decorated with fine ornaments. This gives the earrings a beautiful, fully sculpted look.
They are each set with a red coloured stone and two small seed pearls on the front. A round, movable gold ball completes the design.
At the back, the pretty ear jewellery has long hooks that make it easy and secure to put on and take off.
The historic earrings were created around 1850 and are a classic example of Biedermeier jewellery.

Dimensions of the coloured stones: ca. 4.6 x 3.8 mm.
Diameter of the seed beads: ca. 1.7 mm.
