Description

Antique necklace from the Art Nouveau period, made of gold-plated silver (tested and guaranteed).

On a delicate chain with bayonet lock on the back is a beautiful pendant, set with six amethysts in staircase and antique cut of approx. 3.3 carats. Three of the gemstones are attached to filigree pendulums and are each accentuated by a sweet seed bead.
Due to this characteristic design of chain and pendulums set with precious stones, the piece of jewellery is also known as a Lavalière necklace.

The fine necklace was created around 1905 and can be combined very beautifully due to its feminine design.

Length of the necklace (incl. clasp): 49.5 cm.
Dimensions of the pendant: 4.6 x 1.4 cm.
Dimensions of the amethysts in antique cut: approx. 6.4 x 4.9 mm or approx. 7.6 x 6.0 mm.
Dimensions of the amethysts in staircase cut: ca. 3,8 x 2,8 mm.
Diameter of the seed beads: approx. 1.0 mm.
Weight: 5.9 grams.
Condition: Very nice historical condition with slight signs of wear, one amethyst chipped, freshly cleaned, see photos.
