Description
Stunning Art Deco necklace in white gold 585 / 14 ct (stamped and guaranteed), set with rock crystals and diamonds.
The necklace consists of a geometrically designed link chain with beautiful tendril engraving and a large pendant in the shape of a pendulum. It is divided into two parts and set with two fine rock crystals with a radial cut back. The gemstones are surrounded by filigree settings, which are decorated with black and green enamel or with the finest Millegriff beads.
In the centre of the rock crystals are set with two sparkling diamonds in brilliant cut and square settings. The diamonds have a stone weight of approx. 0.13 carats and are in the beautiful medium quality range (h-i, VS2-SI1).
The unusual link chain is closed on the back with a lobster clasp.
This sensational piece of jewellery was created around 1930 and is a characteristic and particularly beautiful example of Art Deco, whose design vocabulary is characterised by a preference for geometric elements and black and white contrasts in combination with bright colours.
Length of the necklace (including clasp): 44.5 cm.
Dimensions of the pendant: 5.6 x 2.1 cm.
Dimensions of the rock crystals: approx. 1.1 x 1.1 cm or approx. 3.3 x 1.9 cm.
