Description
Charming pair of antique earrings from the Biedermeier period, made of gold-plated silver (tested and guaranteed). The round creoles have an S-shaped element inside their ring that holds the decorated front of the ear jewellery in place. Framed by sculpturally curved rocaille decorations, the centre of each earring was designed in the form of a small flower of seven coral balls each. The Viennese Brisuren are opened at the front and guarantee a pleasant and secure hold on the ear.
The wonderful antique Creoles originated around 1830 and are particularly beautiful and sought-after pieces of jewellery of the Biedermeier period. They can be perfectly combined with traditional costumes and dirndls, but also with many other styles.
Dimensions of the creoles: 2.5 x 2.7 cm.
Dimensions of the front decoration: 1.8 x 1.3 cm.
Diameter of the corals: approx. 2.0 - 2.4 mm.
Weight: additional 6,2 gram.
Condition: Wonderful historical condition, freshly cleaned, see photos.
You will receive the earrings lovingly packed in one of our high-quality cases and with a certificate of authenticity.
Please note: Vintage and antique jewellery are worn objects which may show slight signs of wear due to their history.
