Description
Elegant antique lapel pin / tie pin in yellow gold 585 / 14 Kt (tested and guaranteed), set with a beautiful large diamond rose of about 0.7 carats. This sits in a typical silver stub frame and is foilled, i.e. underlaid with a thin metal foil, which should emphasize the sparkle of the gemstone. It is also enclosed by a curved cartouche decorated with blue decorative enamel. A charming rocaille motif forms the lower finish and is set with another small table-cut diamond. Due to the silver needle lock, the piece of jewellery sits attractively and securely on the lapel or tie.
The opulent needle comes from Frankfurt and was created in the second half of the 18th century. Her playful motifs can be traced back to the formal language of Baroque and Rococo, which makes her an individual and extremely noble collector's item.
Total length of the needle: 4.6 cm.
Dimensions of the needle head: 2.6 x 1.1 mm.
Dimensions of the diamond rose: approx. 6.6 x 5.1 mm.
Diameter of the table-cut diamond: approx. 2.2 mm.
Weight: 4.5 grams.
Condition: Very nice antique condition, needle slightly bent, freshly cleaned, see photos.
You will receive the needle lovingly packed in one of our high-quality cases and with a certificate of authenticity.
