Description
Classic vintage charivari with seven pendants, crafted from silver (tested and guaranteed).
Seven decorative pendants are attached to a solid chain in a round armour pattern: a deer toe decorated with silver oak leaves, a 1-crown coin with the portrait of Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria, a deer cuirass, a 5-mark coin with King Otto of Bavaria from 1907, another deer cuirass, a 1/2-gulden coin from 1845 with the portrait of King Ludwig I of Bavaria and a deer spike.
The charivari is attached to the lederhosen using two large spring clasps.
The traditional charivari originated around 1950 and comes from Munich. It is a classic men's accessory for traditional costume and originally served its wearer as a status symbol and talisman for a successful hunt.
