Historic snake brooch with ruby and rose-cut diamonds, crafted from 585 yellow gold (tested and guaranteed).

The pretty brooch is crafted in the shape of a snake and set with sparkling rose-cut diamonds totaling ca. 0.06 carats in silver settings at the top and bottom of the snake's body. A bright raspberry-colored, oval faceted ruby weighing approx. 0.05 carats sits on its head. The head and body of the snake are engraved with fine lines that suggest the scales and the typical pattern of a snake's head.

On the back, the piece of jewelry has a well-functioning pin with a safety catch.

The historical brooch was created around 1900 and was a very popular and frequent motif as a symbol of eternal life.
