Description
Biedermeier necklace with turquoises, made of red gold 585 / 14 ct (chain) and gold-plated silver (turquoise elements) (tested and guaranteed).
An opulently decorated centrepiece with floral decoration hangs from a red gold anchor chain interspersed with small oval turquoise cabochons. It is set with flowers and stylised foliage made from turquoise cabochons, which sit in matching gold-plated silver settings. A small pendant with a blossom and an oval turquoise completes the playful and imaginative design.
The chain of the piece of jewellery can be closed at the back with a securely functioning buckle, which is also decorated with a small flower.
The historic necklace was created in Germany around 1860 and is an authentic piece of jewellery from the Biedermeier period. Today, it can be worn in a classic style as well as with traditional costumes and dirndls.
