Legendary art nouveau necklace made of rose gold 585 / 14 Kt, decorated with a platinum layer (both tested and guaranteed). The highlight of this filigree piece of jewellery is the pendant, which is made in the abstract Art Nouveau decor typical of the time and which is generated by a combination of linear and constructional elements and vegetal swing. It is open-worked and completely set with 36 enchanting rose-cut diamonds of a total of approx. 0.7 carats. The upper finish is decorated with three half pearls, which captivate with their fine shimmer. The pendant is worn on a delicate anchor chain in white gold 750 / 18 Kt (stamped and guaranteed), which was added later and can be closed with a stable spring ring.
The dreamlike antique necklace was created around 1910 and is a highlight for every antique jewellery lover! With its characteristic form, it is an exemplary representative of Art Nouveau, which on the one hand, as a counter-movement to Historicism, demanded an innovative formal language and on the other hand focused on the quality of craftsmanship in contrast to the emerging mass production.
