Description
Large exceptional bird of paradise brooch in sterling silver 925 (stamped and guaranteed).
The body of the pretty bird is accented in the center with a large oval onyx cabochon. The bird of paradise sits on a branch and its proudly sparkling plumage is set with countless marcasites. Its eye is shown with a reddish brown carnelian in an oval cabochon cut.
The brooch can be easily opened and closed with the help of a pin with a safety regulator on the back.
This extravagant piece of jewellery was created around 1930 and is a particularly original companion!
