Description

Sensational Biedermeier necklace, made of foam gold 585 / 14 Kt (tested and guaranteed), garnets and seed pearls. The elongated links of the chain are sculpturally formed from typical floral and architectural forms and end in a pompous cartouche with its main motif, the rolling mechanism, referring to the Baroque period. Three crescents are placed on the cartridge, which are completely decorated with rose-cut garnets and a row of seed pearls. The cartouche is connected by two ornamental chain strands to a hemispherical suspension, which is framed by a wreath of small garnets and seed pearls and centrally occupied by a larger garnet. Two pendulums of different lengths with garnets form an attractive finish. The chain is closed with a finely engraved box buckle with a very well functioning plug-in mechanism.
The dreamlike antique necklace was created around 1840 and can be combined perfectly with traditional costume and Dirndl. A real highlight for every antique jewellery lover!
