Charming historical Biedermeier necklace with garnets, made of yellow gold 417/ 10 ct (tested and guaranteed).
The pretty necklace consists of richly decorated chain links and an opulent center cartouche, centered with eleven deep red rose-cut garnets.
The antique piece of jewelry is closed with a delicate box clasp.
The typical necklace was created around 1850 and is a wonderful example of jewelry of the Biedermeier period, when people preferred to wear necklaces with an accentuated middle part and decorated them with rich ornaments of flowers and volutes.
