Enchanting heart-shaped medallion pendant on a chain, decorated with enamel work and crafted from 585 / 14 carat rose gold (hallmarked, tested and guaranteed).
The front of this historic medallion is intricately engraved with a floral pattern, upon which two enamelled forget-me-not blossoms are set. The small flowers are rendered true to life in rich blue and white-yellow enamel, whilst the leaves shine in a lush green.
The medallion can be opened at the side and offers space inside for small mementos.
The antique pendant is attached to a delicate anchor chain with a spring ring clasp. This is made of 333/8 carat rose gold (hallmarked and guaranteed) and was added at a later date.
This delicate medallion was crafted around 1900 and originates from southern Germany. With its charming motif of a heart and forget-me-nots, it makes the perfect keepsake to give as a gift or, filled with mementoes of your own loved ones, can be worn close to your heart. A sentimental piece of jewellery from the turn of the century!
