Beautiful historic pendant brooch necklace by court jeweller F. Miller & Sohn from Ulm, crafted from diamonds and platinum (tested and guaranteed).
The romantic, playful pendant consists of four bow-shaped elements that come together in a circle around an enchanting old-european-cut diamond. Countless diamond roses and other old-european-cut diamonds make this piece of jewellery sparkle and are harmoniously accompanied by the finest millegrain beads.
The ends of the lowest bow form a movable suspension that transitions into another old-european-cut diamond in a floral setting.
A total of 56 diamond roses weighing ca. 0.40 carats and eleven old-european-cut diamonds weighing ca. 0.48 carats (H-I, SI1-SI2) adorn the historic pendant, which has a discreet brooch clasp on the back and can therefore also be worn as a brooch.
The piece is connected to a delicate platinum anchor chain via an eyelet, which can be fastened at the back of the neck with a simple box clasp with a safety catch.
This dreamlike pendant brooch was created around 1910 in Ulm and is very much in keeping with the design language of the early 20th century, when people turned away from the often exuberant designs of historicism and sought a new lightness in airy, delicate, filigree and floral designs. Bows, garlands, delicate flowers and foliage were popular stylistic elements of the Belle Époque, which also went down in history as the "garland style".
