Beautiful historical Biedermeier brooch, made of yellow gold 585 / 14 Kt (tested and guaranteed).
In the center of the handmade brooch sits an oval faceted amethyst in a strong purple hue. The pretty gemstone is framed by 15 natural pearls, which in turn are surrounded by 12 round faceted amethysts.
A pin with a C-hook clasp attached to the back allows the brooch to be easily attached to clothing. An additional pendant eyelet also allows it to be worn as a pendant on a necklace.
The fine historical piece of jewellery can be dated formally and in terms of craftsmanship to the Biedermeier era around 1820.
