Description
Beautiful, high-oval gem pendant with the finely cut depiction of the ancient goddess Flora in profile to the right. She is depicted as a beautiful young woman with her attribute, the flower wreath, in her hair, which she wears in curls. Two pearl necklaces adorn her décolleté and on the right shoulder a small piece of her softly falling garment can still be seen. In the allegorical representation of the seasons, goddess Flora embodies spring. In keeping with this function, the pendant is framed with the finest tendrils and flower and star motifs, on which four small white seed pearls sit. The mussel cameo is connected to a strong chain in pea pattern by a large movable eyelet, which is closed on the back with a solid buckle with additional safety chain.
The pendant necklace is made of gold-plated metal (tested and guaranteed) and was created around 1870. It is best worn with classic styles and traditional wardrobe and is always a stylish eye-catcher.
Length of the chain: 47 cm.
Dimensions of the trailer (incl. eyelet): 5.7 x 3.9 cm.
Dimensions of the cameo: approx. 3.5 x 2.8 cm.
Weight: additional 17,5 gram.
