Description
Charming loop necklace with sparkling old-cut diamonds, crafted in 585 / 14ct gold and silver (both tested and guaranteed).
A pendant in the shape of a bow with a pendulum-shaped suspension swings from a slender silver anchor chain. The loop is set with a total of 18 rose-cut diamonds and one old-cut diamond. The pendant bar carries a further old-cut diamond. The rosette-shaped end of the pendulum is set with a total of ten old-cut diamonds. The diamonds have a total stone weight of ca. 0.9 carats. They are in the beautiful quality range (I-J, SI1-SI2).
The necklace can be opened or closed with a spring ring.
This elegant necklace was created around 1900 and, with its striking bow motif and sparkling diamond rosette, is typical of the glamorous jewellery designs of its time.
Length of the chain: 44.5 cm.
Dimensions of the pendant: 3.2 x 1.7 cm.
Dimensions of the oval old-cut diamond: ca. 4.2 x 3.8 mm, ca. 0.34 ct.
Diameter of the old-cut diamonds: ca. 1.9 - 2.1 mm, in total ca. 0.42 ct.
Diameter of the diamond roses: ca. 0.8 - 1.6 mm, in total ca. 0.20 ct.
Stone weight and qualities: in total ca. 0.9 carat, (I-J, SI1-SI2).
Weight: 2.9 grams.
