Description

Charming antique brooch made of gilded tombac in the shape of a large star. The piece of jewellery has a slightly stepped construction and is completely decorated with wonderfully sparkling Bohemian garnets in rose cut. The different sizes of the gemstones result in a magical optical rhythm and a splendid play of colours in rich red. At the back there is a safely functioning needling with C-hook.
The historical brooch was created around 1860 and comes from Bohemia. It is a traditional companion to many different styles and can be combined especially well with traditional costume and Dirndl.

Diameter of the grenade: approx. 1.5 - 4.1 mm.
Weight: 7.8 grams.
Condition: Very nice condition with small repairs on the front and back, freshly cleaned, see photos.
