Beautiful pair of antique earrings from the Biedermeier period, delicately worked in yellow gold 333 / 8 ct (stamped and guaranteed).

The earrings are designed in the typical curved shape of the time and are set in the middle with an oval support of black onyx. On the back the earrings have so-called Viennese hairstyles which open to the front and allow them to swing freely and comfortably.

The pretty earrings were made around 1860 and come from Frankfurt. They represent authentic jewellery of the Biedermeier period and can be combined very well with traditional costume and dirndl, but also with other classical styles.

Measures of the earrings (incl. hairstyle): 2,0 x 1,1 cm.
Dimensions of the onyx: approx. 7.2 x 5.2 mm.
Weight: additional 1,7 gram.
Condition: Very nice historical condition, freshly cleaned, see photos.
