Description
Charming antique brooch made of gold-plated tombac in bow shape. The openwork brooch is constructed in the shape of a reclining figure eight and is completely decorated with mixed-cut wine-red garnets, which sometimes combine to form stylised flower motifs. The different sizes of the gemstones create a magical optical rhythm and a wonderful sparkle. On the back, the piece of jewellery has a simple, but excellently functioning needling with C-hook.
The historical brooch was created around 1880 in Munich and is a charming companion to many different styles. Especially to traditional costume and Dirndl it is a very charming addition.
Dimensions of the brooch: 6,7 x 1,8 cm.
Diameter or longest dimension of the grenade: approx. 2.4 - 5.7 mm.
Weight: 9.0 grams.
