Description
Rare putto brooch in yellow gold 585 (checked and guaranteed).
The transversely oval, tendril-framed brooch is centrally decorated with a polychrome enamelled cherub with lute, whose wings are set with 21 rose-cut diamonds (total weight approx. 0.4 ct). The enamelled putto sits over a background of vine tendrils in plastic relief.
On the backside the piece of jewellery has a simple, safe closing and pinching with a C-hook.
The historical brooch was made around 1860 in the South German region. It is still in its original brown leather case.
The brooch is a true rarity and a must have for every lover of historical jewellery with soul and history!
