Marcasites, ca. 0.9 mm in diameter.
Description
Bracelet with light blue Verneuil spinel and marcasites by Theodor Fahrner, made of gold-plated 925 silver (stamped, signed and guaranteed).
The decorative bracelet consists of six rectangular, rounded links suspended from each other, which are finely embossed with marcasites. A bright blue, rectangular faceted verneuil spinel sits in the centre of each link.
The bracelet is closed with a concealed box clasp with a safety catch.
The spinel, which is synthetically produced using the Verneuil process, is a gemstone that was typical of the time in jewellery from ca. 1930, with the light blue spinel being particularly popular.
This beautiful bracelet was created around 1930 by Theodor Fahrner, a company founded in 1883 that specialised in the production of high-quality silver jewellery and became known for its characteristic designs.
The bracelet goes particularly well with the brooch with the item number 202412432.
Dimensions of the bracelet: 18.0 x 1.6 cm.
Dimensions of the Verneuil spinels: ca. 13.5 x 8.3 mm.
Diameter of the marcasites: ca. 0.9 mm.
Weight: 43.6 grams.
Condition: Very nice condition, freshly cleaned, see photos.
You will receive the bracelet lovingly packaged in one of our high-quality cases and with a certificate of authenticity.
