Beautiful necklace with bohemian garnets and a medallion pendant, worked from tombac.
This particular necklace consists of flower-shaped links set with sparkling table-cut garnets, which are movably connected to each other.
The three middle flowers are larger and more intricately designed. From the largest flower hangs a small suspension to which is attached a star-shaped medallion set with faceted garnets. The locket can be opened at the back and is used to store small keepsakes and mementos.
The chain closes with a well-functioning pin clasp.
The beautiful garnet necklace was created around 1890 and is a festive companion for special occasions or even with traditional costume and dirndl.
