Beautiful and very rare rococo medallion in heart shape, worked in yellow gold 585 / 14 ct (tested and guaranteed) and fully paved with sparkling rose-cut diamonds.
The 33 diamond roses of approx. 1,7 carat adorn the front of the medallion and are set in typical silver settings (checked and guaranteed). The movable pendant eyelet is also set with diamonds and thus fits harmoniously into the design. On the back of the medallion there is a removable frame with glass inlay, which offers enough space for small souvenirs, which can be worn literally in the heart.
This gorgeous and historic medallion pendant was created around 1780 during the late rococo period and is a very beautiful example of the sentimental jewellery art of the era. It is a fine example of the sentimental jewellery art of the period and perfectly illustrates the fondness for diamond jewellery at that time, which was due to the discovery of huge diamond deposits in Brazil in 1727.
