Beautiful historical cameo brooch with a setting of yellow gold 585 / 14 Kt (tested and guaranteed).

The rare brooch is set with a finely cut oval shell cameo depicting an antique female portrait in profile facing left. The classic yellow gold frame is set with fine filigree decoration.

The brooch can be very well and securely attached to the clothing with the back pin with C-hook.

The fine brooch was created around 1850 and is a wonderful example of the reception of antiquities in the 19th century.

Dimensions of the brooch: 4.5 x 3.8 cm.

Measures of the cameo: ca. 3,5 x 2,8 cm.

Weight: 12,2 grams.
