Wonderful antique bar brooch set with diamonds, crafted from platinum and gold 750 / 18 ct (tested and guaranteed).
The fine, slightly curved brooch is made of platinum and presents 25 fantastically sparkling old-cut diamonds totaling ca. 2.0 carats (H-M, SI1-P2). The precious gemstones are arranged according to size so that the brooch tapers slightly on both sides.
The pin on the back of the piece of jewelry is made of 750 gold and has a safety slide.
This delicate piece of jewelry was created around 1915 and embodies the glamorous design language of the Belle Époque: the years around 1900 were characterized by a spirit of optimism and joie de vivre, which also manifested itself in jewelry. Elegant, sumptuously trimmed designs in delicate, classicist forms were particularly popular.
